Can I access phone from a mobile phone?
No. The callers.io softphone can only be accessed from a desktop or laptop computer. Mobile devices are not supported.
Why Is Mobile Not Supported?
Our softphone is built directly into the callers.io web platform and is optimized for:
- Stable browser performance
- Clear audio quality
- Accurate call routing
- Reliable call tracking
Mobile browsers and operating systems can create:
- Audio instability
- Microphone permission issues
- Background app interference
- Connectivity interruptions
To maintain call quality and platform stability, access is limited to desktop or laptop devices.
Important: Availability & Performance
Inbound calls are routed only to agents who are:
- Logged into the platform
- On the My Phone page
- Softphone turned on
- Marked as available
- Funded
Since inbound insurance traffic is a numbers game, consistent availability plays a major role in overall results. We recommend evaluating performance across 20+ calls or multiple sessions, rather than a small sample size, to properly assess ROI.
Remaining consistently online during peak hours improves both call volume and long-term outcomes.
