Inbound Calls Are Delivered Through the In-Platform Softphone

Calls are delivered directly through the callers.io web-based softphone. They do not ring to your personal mobile or office phone.

How Call Routing Works

When a consumer:

  • Sees a targeted insurance advertisement
  • Clicks the ad
  • Initiates a call

The call is routed in real time through the callers.io platform.

You receive the call directly inside your browser via the built-in softphone.

There is:

  • No separate phone number to configure
  • No call forwarding setup
  • No external dialer required

Everything operates within your logged-in dashboard.

What You Need to Do to Receive Calls

To begin receiving calls:

  1. Log into callers.io from a desktop or laptop.
  2. Navigate to the My Phone page.
  3. Turn on the softphone.
  4. Set your status to available.

Once active, inbound calls will route to you automatically.

Important: Personal Phones Are Not Used

Calls do not ring to:

  • Personal cell phones
  • Desk phones
  • External VoIP systems

All call activity occurs inside the callers.io platform to ensure:

  • Accurate tracking
  • Proper billing
  • Call routing stability
  • Platform integrity

Performance & Availability Expectations

Inbound insurance traffic is a numbers game.

Call volume depends on:

  • Campaign demand
  • Agent availability
  • Funding status
  • Market conditions

To properly evaluate performance and ROI, we recommend remaining consistently available and assessing results across 20+ calls or multiple sessions, rather than a small sample size.

Consistency plays a major role in both volume and long-term outcomes.
